All measurements in inches, taken on the garment laid flat — chest is half the circumference, so double it to compare against your own chest measurement. Body length runs from the high point of the shoulder to the hem at the back. Tee sleeve is measured from the centre back neck, over the shoulder, to the sleeve hem; hoodie sleeve from the centre of the neck down.
Care. Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colours. Non-chlorine bleach only when needed. Tumble dry medium for tees, low for hoodies. Do not iron the print.
Between sizes? These are a classic cut, not slim — most people take their normal size. Size up if you like room, or if you are buying a hoodie to layer.
The Schooner Pub and Galley opened in 1972 on 100th Street SW in Lakewood, built by a man who left the construction business to do it. You entered across a gangplank. Inside was brown wood and rigging and nautical clutter, life-sized ship’s officers standing watch over the bar, a crow’s nest, a ship’s prow above the fireplace and a dining room done out like a forecastle with rope-edged tables. The menu sections were the Captain’s Table, the Cook’s Cache, Sailor’s Cove and the Crew’s Galley.
The fish and chips brought the crowds. Through the eighties and nineties, teachers and coaches from Clover Park and Lakes High School held their after-school "staff meetings" there, safely out of earshot of students and administrators. It closed in 2017 after about forty-five years and the building came down. There is a Chick-fil-A on the spot now.
