All measurements in inches, taken on the garment laid flat — chest is half the circumference, so double it to compare against your own chest measurement. Body length runs from the high point of the shoulder to the hem at the back. Tee sleeve is measured from the centre back neck, over the shoulder, to the sleeve hem; hoodie sleeve from the centre of the neck down.

Care. Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colours. Non-chlorine bleach only when needed. Tumble dry medium for tees, low for hoodies. Do not iron the print.

Between sizes? These are a classic cut, not slim — most people take their normal size. Size up if you like room, or if you are buying a hoodie to layer.

It ran alongside the runway at Pierce County Airport, out where Meridian meets 160th on South Hill. Nobody has pinned the opening date down exactly — a county report confirms it was already operating when the 1962 comprehensive plan was adopted, and local historians put its start in the mid-to-late fifties, possibly as a way of getting street racers off the airport runway itself.

Racers loved it. The neighbours did not: noise, parking, roads jammed solid on a race day. The county approved an expansion in 1971 on the condition the noise and crowds were dealt with, and they were not. By 1979 an inspection found the tracks disused and falling apart; formal racing had stopped around 1978. Sunrise Village sits on part of the ground now. Worth saying plainly — this is not Spanaway Speedway. Different place, different sport, about ten miles apart.
