All measurements in inches, taken on the garment laid flat — chest is half the circumference, so double it to compare against your own chest measurement. Body length runs from the high point of the shoulder to the hem at the back. Tee sleeve is measured from the centre back neck, over the shoulder, to the sleeve hem; hoodie sleeve from the centre of the neck down.
Care. Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colours. Non-chlorine bleach only when needed. Tumble dry medium for tees, low for hoodies. Do not iron the print.
Between sizes? These are a classic cut, not slim — most people take their normal size. Size up if you like room, or if you are buying a hoodie to layer.
Washington state printed in heavy distressed white so it looks worn the day it arrives, a big 253 across the middle of it in tonal blue, dropping below the state line at the bottom. And behind all of that, dozens of smaller 253s tilted at every angle and scale, layered into a loose cloud that fills the whole print.
Two ways to wear it, and they are different blues. The t-shirt is light blue with the print a shade deeper. The hoodie is royal, heavier and darker, with the same artwork sitting brighter against it. Pick the style above and the colour follows.
The number covers more ground than people give it credit for. Tacoma and the western half of Pierce County, yes — but also the south end of King County: Kent, Auburn, Federal Way. Gig Harbor across the bridge. Fox Island, Roy, Lakebay. It has only existed since 27 April 1997, when the old 206 was split three ways, and it is worth noticing how fast a telephone prefix turned into something people wear on their chest.
